Glittering graphics at Design Museum

designmuseum paperbag

So at the weekend I and some chums that I went to uni with went and had a nose round the Design Museum down London way. At it really was worth the extortionate £8 we paid to get in! On show was the Brit Insurance Design Awards with all sorts of interesting stuff on display. Having marvelled at the architecture and giggled at the Sheep Defibrillator (!) I came across this graphical gem.

Is Not Magazine is a bi-monthly publication in a 1.5 x 2m billboard sized publication, sadly discontinued. It was made and displayed at sites around Melbourne in Australia. Pretty out there and certainly challenging the way people normally look at magazines. I like it a lot, especially the mix of frankly bizarre content and excellent art direction.

Yum yum.
